I have always loved sources of comfort whether it's God, jewelry, scents, clothing, anything that I find uplifting, pretty, rejuvenating, calming. In the past 3 years comfort has become precious to me. 3 years ago I began taking care of my mom, I am also employed full time.  Since then her codition has steady gotten worse so comfort has become vital to my own well-being and inner peace.  Please don't get me wrong.. there is nowhere on this earth that I would rather be and nothing else I would rather be doing.  In these past couple of years my mom has become my best friend and I have become hers.  She suffers debilitating pain from arthritis and it is very hard being a bystander knowing there is absolutely nothing I can do except be there for her. This is where the comfort comes in. One day a friend said to me that she loves being in my space because it smells good (essential oils plug ins), is so cozy, serene, like a sanctuary.  I thought about what she said and it hit me that I would like to share my comfort with anyone who wants/needs it like I do.  It took me awhile to determine how I could do that and finally came up with the idea of making comfort items and share them on Etsy. Now, I'm not an artist, not a professional crafter and to be honest, I'm not very creative.  Do ya'll know how many items I have reworked or discarded items entirely because it certainly didn't turn out like what I had pictured in my head?  ALOT lol!  But.. I do think that I have pretty good taste and anyone who has seen the items in my shop on Etsy has probably figured out I LOVE beach-y, ocean-y stuff, it gives me the most comfort so that's what I started with.  I started out making jewelry but have recently added decorative luxury candles and a few things made of epoxy resin.
Please reach out to me anytime (mystylesforcomfort@gmail.com) with questions, comments, etc. I'd love to hear from you 💕
Thank you so much for visiting my shop and letting me share my story with you!
I wish you all the best!
